1. A man who isn’t insecure about your growth, self development, goals and achievement.
Yeah! He’s always happy to see you thrive, and doesn’t waste a second to follow up with your next project, hype you up, and support you with everything he has.
He is never insecure about being behind, being ahead, or just succeeding side by side. Sis, if you meet this one, grab that ring!
2. A man who adores and respects you no matter what and where in a healthy way.
The way he talks about you to other people is with so much reverence and admiration. He doesn’t shame you in public or in private.
He honours you as his woman and treats you with dignity: in front of his friends, family, and strangers.
3. A man who gives you room to grow , evolve, learn and thrive. Become and explore what success looks like.
He doesn’t box you in.
He doesn’t try to confine you to just one lane. He encourages you to chase your goals, explore your talents, and design the life you dream of: with his full support.
4. A man who is emotionally stable and spiritually grounded.
When life happens (and it surely will one way or the other), you need someone who knows how to handle pressure, stress, manage your mood, hormones, emotions, still caring for you, showing up for you and leading with wisdom. (This one no be six packs or secure the bag 💰
matter).
You don’t need someone who explodes at every small issue or runs away from responsibility. And sis, he must have a relationship with God: not church attendance, I’m talking real relationship.
5. A man who values your voice and opinions (Healthy Communication).
He talks. He listens. He’s not giving you the “I’m a man, I don’t explain myself” nonsense.
He knows that good communication is how relationships are built and sustained. When something is wrong, he is willing to sit with you, talk it through, and find solutions.
6. A man who is very generous to you with his resources (such as time, experience, wisdom energy, manpower, plus his money.
Yes, money is important (and he should be hardworking too), but generosity goes beyond that.
Is he generous with his time, attention, knowledge empathy and love?
A stingy man emotionally, financially or mentally, is a red flag. Look for a man whose hands/heart are open, not clenched.
Marriage is partnership.
So please, if you’re going to say yes to anyone, let it be someone who can lift you, and do life with you well.
May God give you His grace to be patient and obedience enough trusting Him that He will lead you to His will in marriage for you💞
You'll marry once and marry right.
You will not fail in marriage in Jesus' name.
