Marriage is beautiful when love, patience and humility are present.
But when pride, ego and unhealthy third party interference enters…Even “good morning” becomes a big problem. 😂
Everyone prepares for wedding day but very few prepare for the marriage itself.
You must truly know who you are marrying... at least do your own best due diligence the most you can spiritually and physically with clear eyes that can only be achieved in a strict "NO ROMANTIC TOUCHING OF ANY SORT & NO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE" relationship and then be open to accept whatever you discover whether it be good or bad especially trustworthy spiritual leadings (because you'll discover a lot of things whether good or bad).
Not only during dates and outings but during stress, disappointment and hard times.
Because when marriage breaks, children often carry the deepest wounds silently for almost the rest of their lives.
Some lose emotional stability.
Some struggle with confidence.
Some grow up angry at love itself.
And society? Ah! Society can and will be unfair.
Divorced men often move on easier. Even if he is a walking red banner and the devil's incarnate himself, you will always see women who wouldn't mind marrying him the very next day after his last divorce.
But divorced women face long term unnecessary and sometimes unending judgment from people that won’t even help them cope with their new harsh reality, heal or even bounce back fully. 😩
They will tell you that there are uncountable single unencumbered women who have never for once tasted marriage, so why bother with someone who already has a stigma and a negative tag to her status at all.
This is why wisdom matters before first saying “I do” to any man from the word go... To prevent premium tears later.
Marriage needs two people willing to listen, forgive and drop ego.
A peaceful home is more valuable than winning arguments every day.
Choose maturity, wisdom and sincere fear of God over mere chemistry. ❤️
