Thinking Of Getting Married Someday? Here Are Three Ways Being Happily Married Will Make You A Better Person..

Marriage especially when done right is not just a good thing but a full packaged blessing. Everyone desires to be married and be happy in it and it is more than important to us children of God because it was initiated and instituted by Our Heavenly Father from the creation of man to fulfill His divine plan for mankind and our earthly mandate.

However, the very many challenges that besiege marriages of our generation, many of which ending up in divorce, makes it less and less attractive to so many people including members of the body of Christ.

But not minding all of these, being happily married as God's ideal model of depicting His Love for the Church of Christ is His means of actually making His Children grow both spiritually, physically and in turn obtaining His promised favour.

Below is a brief list of ways being happily married (especially in a Christian marriage) can make one become a better person and advance further in life and destiny.

1. Marriage makes one become character reshaped and all the more responsible: This is because marriage has a way of magnifying one's strength and weaknesses/insecurities before your spouse and new family.

2. Marriage makes a person more spiritually sensitive and reformed. This is because as a Child of God, we want to build a solid Christian home and we know that we can only achieve that if we make Christ the center of it all.

3. Marriage makes one selfless and more accommodating than ever before and the reason stems from the obvious fact that we want our spouse and new family to bond and get comfortable around us for the rest of their lives.

  1. Thanks for sharing, Chiamaka. I cannot wait to get married one day. I would just like to share how grateful I am for Pastor Keion Henderson. He has blessed my life so much. He is transparent and speaks to the heart of what I need to hear. I first came across him when I saw the interview with Bishop Jakes and instantly became a fan. Love listening to black preachers preaching. I now always listen to his sermons on Youtube and his Podcasts and I love his approach - his real life way of relating to people and the problems and cares we face. He is motivational on every level and is creatively solid in his way of sharing faith. https://www.keionhenderson.com/about-us/
